Check LLC Name is a static informational website. This policy explains, in plain terms, what information is and is not collected when you use it.
The name-check tool
The name-check workflow tool runs entirely in your browser. The state you pick and the business name you type are never sent to us, stored, logged, or shared. There is no database behind the tool.
No accounts, no forms
This site has no user accounts, no sign-up forms, and no checkout. We do not ask for your name, address, phone number, or payment details anywhere on the site.
If you write to us at the address on the Contact page, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to read and reply to your message, and we do not add it to any mailing list.
Server logs and hosting
Like almost every website, our hosting and content-delivery providers process standard technical information when your browser loads a page — for example your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested — in server logs used to operate and secure the site. We do not use those logs to build profiles of visitors.
Cookies and analytics
This site itself sets no tracking cookies. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy first and describe what is collected. Pages we link to — official state sites and formation services — have their own privacy policies, which apply once you leave this site.
What we never do
- We never sell personal information.
- We never collect the business names typed into the tool.
- We never ask for passwords, payment details, or government ID numbers.
Children
This site is a business-information resource aimed at adults forming companies. It is not directed at children under 13.
